Metex Sponsors Charity Golf Day Supporting Mental Health in Construction

We were proud to sponsor a hole at a recent charity golf day at The Belfry, organised by Screed Papi in support of The Lost City project – an initiative tackling mental health challenges in the construction industry.

With suicide rates among tradespeople four times the national average, the need for support is critical. The Lost City project raises vital funds to provide free therapy sessions for those in the trade, delivered through trusted industry charities Band of Builders and Construction Sport, and supported by On The Tools.

It was a fantastic day bringing the construction community together for a serious cause, with over £2,000 raised on the day alone. We’re proud to stand alongside others in the industry to raise awareness and help fund life-saving support.
