Can Corefix Strap fixings be removed and reused?
They are not reusable, but if you need to remove the fixing you can gently detach the plastic cap and push the toggle into the wall cavity.
What's the maximum wall thickness Corefix Strap fixings work in?
With the 40mm bolt version the maximum wall thickness is 30mm, and with the 60mm bolt 50mm. As it’s a standard M5 machine screw, you can swap the bolt for a longer one if needed for an even thicker wall.
Are Corefix Strap fixings suitable for hanging a TV on a single metal stud?
If the strap is secured properly through the metal stud and the TV is not on a cantilever bracket, they should work just fine (Please pay attention to max weights per fixing).
Do Corefix Strap fixings work in lath & plaster?
Yes if there’s a cavity where the toggle can open & hook behind the material.
How do you remove hollow wall fixings?
Corefix Strap hollow wall fixings can removed by first unscrewing the bolt, and then gently detaching the plastic cap and pushing the toggle into the wall cavity. If the fixing is being replaced, the same 13mm hole can be reused with a new fixing, making it a clean and straightforward swap.
